2. Use
As for all other aminoglycosides is active mainly on gram negative bacteria and Mycobacteria. Its main application is for human therapy, in particular Paramomycin is used in the treatment of injections of the gastro intestinal tract and intestinal parasitosis (lamblia, amoeba, toenia).
