2.Use
Food enrichment. Supplementation of wheat-based foods with Tryptophan improves their protein quality and results in improved growth and tissue synthesis.
For feed technical qualities are sufficient and widely used, but for dosing reasons, crystalline qualities are often preferred. In this case purity is higher then 98.5%.
3.Technology
Strain and technological know-how for fermentation and recovery is available through ITTC:
Final titre: 35±3 g/L
Fermentation time: 50±5 hrs
Recovery yield as crystal: ≥70%
Recovery yield as Feed Grade: ≥85%
