Fermentation technology to produce Acid-resistant β-mannanase

1. Product introduction:

Mannan is a major component of plant hemicellulose, be β-1 ,4-D pyran-mannose made of  linear polysaccharide formed. Mannan with a high hydrophilic property, so a large number of water absorbed within the digestive tract in monogastric animals, so that there is an increase of the viscosity of gastrointestinal contents, resistance to gastrointestinal motility, result in direct impact on animals digestion and absorption of nutrients. 

2. Mechanism of action:

The project core technology is produce liquid Acid-resistant β-mannanase by Pichia pastoris in fermentation. Acid-resistant β-mannanase is suitable for pigs, chickens and other monogastric animal feed additive, it can improve feed utilization, substitute for antibiotics and chemical synthesis drugs partially. It is non-toxic, harmless, non-residue.
