Fermentation technology to produce Phytase

1. Product introduction:

Phytase is produced by the advanced submerged fermentation and refining. It can degrade phytic acid into phytase myo-inositol or inositol phosphate and phosphoric acid, which can be eliminate anti-nutritional effects of the monogastric animals, enhance the body's utilization of nutrients and reducing phosphorus pollution to the environment.

2. Mechanism of action:

1) Phytate hydrolysis in the inositol phosphate ester bonds, will break down phytic acid and phytate into inositol and phosphoric acid to improve the utilization of phytate P in feed;

2) Destruction of phytate chelating structure, release the chelated mineral elements , protein, starch and other nutrients to improve their utilization;

3) Hydrolyzed phytic acid, reducing its physiologically active substances in the digestive tract of inhibition in order to enhance production performance of animals.

3. Physical and Chemical Properties:

Appearance: light yellow or white Solid

Enzyme activity: 1000 ~ 5000u / g ( 37 ℃, pH5.5, )

Temperature range: 20 ~ 70 ℃, Optimum temperature 50 ℃

PH range: pH2.0 ~ 6.5, Optimum pH5.5 (pH2.5, it can also show a higher activity)

4. Use:

Phytase is mainly used for feed industry.

5. Performance Values:

Final titre: 20000u/ml

Fermentation time: 200-250hrs

Recovery yield: 70-80%
